Original caption: "It Happened One Night..." and the night was dated Feb. 27, 1935, when the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences awarded their little gold statuettes at a dinner in the Biltmore Bowl, Los Angeles. The Columbia production, "It Happened One Night," carried off the honors for the year. Gold statuettes were awarded to Harry Cohn, producer of the film; Frank Capra, director; Clark Gable and Claudette Colbert. Photo shows Gable and his award.
