The Blistered Legs of a Chinese Soldier

The Blistered Legs of a Chinese Soldier

Original caption: The horrible blisters left on the legs of a Chinese soldier by the mustard gas barrage turned lose by Japanese batteries and planes in the battle for Ichang. These blisters puff out to the size of ping-pong balls. In an uncompleted railway tunnel used as a field hospital by the Chines, Miss Betty Graham saw three hundred victims of the gas turned into broken, hopeless men.
